The editors liked โปรเจ็กเตอร์ระยะฉายสั้น ที่สามารถฉายภาพขนาดใหญ่กว่า 300 นิ้วได้ โดยที่ไม่จำเป็นต้องวางตัวเครื่องให้ห่างจากฉากมากนัก ชิพประมวลผลภาพ DLP DarkChip 3 ให้สีสันที่แม่นยำและใกล้มาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมภาพยนตร์มากๆ ประสิทธิภาพการแสดงผลโดยรวมไม่ต่างจากรุ่น W1070เลย ลำโ "Short Throw" ใช้ระยะฉายที่สั้นมากๆ ประหยัดพื้นที่และได้ขนาดจอที่ใหญ่ ความคมชัดระดับ Full HD ถือว่าคมจัด และภาพอิ่มเข้มเป็นธรรมชาติ หลัง Calibrate ภาพแล้ว ถือว่าอุณหภูมิสีเที่ยงตรง ใกล้เคียงค่าอ้างอิงที่ 6500K ยิ่งขึ้น รวมถึงการปรับจูน CMS มีโหมดปรับภ The editors didn't like ภาพที่ฉายออกมาจะมี Barrel Distortion หรืออาการภาพบวมของคู่กันกับเลนส์มุมกว้างในโปรเจ็กเตอร์ช่วงฉายสั้น ซึ่งนั่นทำให้เราต้องปรับ Keystone Correction ช่วย และก็จะส่งผลต่อความคมชัดของภาพเล็กน้อย ด้วยระยะเลนส์ฉายที่สั้น จะพบ Barrel Distortion คือ ขอบกึ่งกลางซ้ายขวา บนล่าง จะโค้งบ้างนิดๆ แต่ไม่ได้ส่งผลกับการรับชม ภาพ 3 มิติยังคงมีการกระพริบอยู่บ้าง และแว่นตาสวมใสไม่สบายนัก ไม่มี Vertical Lens Shift ที่สามารถยกภาพขึ้นในแกนตั้งได้ * มาตรฐานคะแ
