  • XGA for less than £800, Excellent lumens output, Top-notch colour ratio, Good film and performance with Macs
  • Way too loud on full power, Terrible preset modes
  • The X range from InFocus is the potato of the projector world: it might not be the most exciting thing on the market but it isnt half versatile. The X3 is the latest in this range, and is designed to be good for computer work as well as watching movie...

  • Reasonably bright image. Excellent contrast ratio. Good image quality. Audio volume is adequate for a small room. Straightforward menus.
  • Composite video images (but not S-Video) are a little washed out.
  • The InFocus X3 is light enough to be relatively portable but big enough that you probably wont want to carry it on many business trips. It throws a reasonably bright image, offers excellent contrast ratio, and is inexpensive enough to count as a good ...

  • Abstract:  Infocus is promoting the X3 as a multipurpose projector. This is often an empty marketing idea, as nothing needs adding to most office projectors to make them suitable for basic home movie use. It certainly doesnt look much like a business projec...

  • Abstract:  The InFocus X3 is the fourth edition in a series, following the X1, X1A, and X2. Like its predecessors, it is geared towards data presentation, but could double as a part time home theater projector in a pinch. Unlike its predecessors, its native resoluti...
