  • Abstract:  Quantum Theory is a third person shooter from Tecmo Koei, their first in the genre, and it is a damaged clone of the great games in whose footsteps it follows. I would like to say the game was too ambitious and that is why it fails on nearly every leve...

  • Abstract:  Tecmo Koei has clearly taken an “inspiration” from Epic Games’ incredibly successful Gears of War franchise for their latest game, Quantum Theory. The cover-based, third-person shooter game shows no shame in encompassing what is almost an exact replica...

  • Slow motion effects when you take down an enemy, can fling your partner towards an enemy for a takedown/diversion
  • Bad copy/paste job from other titles, poor graphics, stupid AI, boring and repetitive gameplay, corny dialogs, levels designed by toddlers

  • Throwing your AI partner around adds some variety to combat
  • So, so ugly, No originality, Poor level design, Uninteresting plot
  • Quantum Theory is the video game equivalent of a cringe-worthy Hindi rip-off of a Hollywood film. Apparently, this is what Japanese developers think Western gamers want from a third-person shooter, and they couldn’t be more wrong. May be this is what w...

  • Abstract:  Japanese developers have been attempting to breach the Western market ever since the unexpected early triumph of the Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3. Capcom and Nintendo have summoned Western developers to do their bidding (Dead Rising 2 and Metroid P...

  • Abstract:  Tuhon partaalla oleva maailma. Miehekkäitä miehiä jykevine hartioineen naurettavissa selkäpanssareissa. Isoja pyssyjä ja taistelu loputtomia hirviölaumoja vastaan. Joko se Gears of War 3 ilmestyikin?Quantum Theory liikkuu niin vahvasti samalla peliken...

  • While Quantum Theory doesn’t do anything new or revolutionary, it doesn’t really do what it does with much enthusiasm. Multiplayer isn’t clunky, but there’s not much variety and not many people online with it. The story could be more involved and the c...

  • Quantum Theory subscribes to the design philosophy that if you can't come up with a decent idea yourself, simply command 'inspiration' from a nearby top-seller and ride those coat-tails all the way to the bank. In this case, the unwitting recipient of ...
